Lyla's 1st Birthday

Its so hard to believe it has been a year since we welcomed our sweet baby girl. She has been such a blessing to us and brought us more joy than we could possibly ever imagined, we are so thankful for her! Just thinking of her brings a smile to my face.

We had her birthday party this past weekend, Grammy, Nanny and Macey came in town to celebrate with us and Jasons family all came to the party, it was a good time, and baby girl loved having everyone there just for her!

We did a watermelon themed birthday party, that is the one thing that Lyla absolutely loves and cant get enough of, so it was only fitting.

She had her 1st Krispy Kreme donut on saturday, and that was a hit also.

Few things about Lyla:

She loves mack she refers to him as "ack" and she will call him and bang her sweet little hand on the floor when she does.
She calls everyone "dada"
She smiles all the time, waves to everyone that will wave back
her favorite food is watermelon!
She took her first steps behind a shopping cart and was so proud of herself on her birthday
She has taken 1 or 2 steps unassisted but gets to excited to take many more.
She loves to hold the mario kart steering wheel when her brothers are playing and pretend like she is part of the game, we all think its hilarious!
She loves her new baby doll, when she first got it she started talking to it in a very high pitch voice (just like we all talk to her i guess)
